Relic,

Are you referring to the situation in measure number 6? There with the right hand you'll play a G-sharp (G#)with your pinky finger (finger 5) and at the same time with your right-hand thumb you'll play a G-sharp an octave lower. Then, while continuing to hold down the higher G-sharp with your right hand pinky, you will release the lower G-sharp with your thumb and then play a d-sharp with finger number 2 or 3. To finish off the triplet, continue to hold that pinky finger down, release the D-sharp and play the F-sharp with finger number 4.

You know to hold down the G-sharp with your pinky finger because the note is written as a dotted half-note, which lasts for three full counts (or for three sets of triplets). The darkened triplet notes are of shorter duration. On this page, release a triplet note before playing the next one.

Does this help you?

Relic,

The key signature of this piece has 4 sharps in it - C, D, F and G. This means that absent any special notation in the same measure, whenever you see any of these you will play the sharped note.

Good Luck - Meredith

No, Relic, the natural sign counts only for the one measure it's in.

For instance, the D natural in measure 3 counts only for that measure. The Ds in measures 4, 6, and 8 are not D naturals, they are D#s (D sharps). That's probably why it doesn't sound right to you.

Could you guys check if this one is right?

( u dont have to check the notes) just the transcription i putted for example # E beneath the lines in letter form (easy read for me) and just wonder if ive perhaps filled a wrong one in -.-

( think i might have done something wrong at 13 and maybe 12 )

Measure 13, that left hand note on the third beat is an E, not a C#.

Measure 16, the last note in the left hand is an E, not a C.
